Artist residency in a 150 year-old house in Nolan Park on Governors Island for directors, creators, choreographers, musicians, writer/director teams, ensembles, and participatory theater makers to develop new work, explore ideas, and foster collaborations. The goal of Make Room on Governors Island was to provide space for directors and creators to explore and practice their craft. The residency is perfect for devising, choreographic and physical storytelling, text development with actors, staging rehearsals, crafting theatrical moments, participatory work and more.
